REES has partnered with the startup community to lead change by reducing barriers to reporting sexual harassment, misconduct, assault and discrimination.
Your VC/Accelerator has partnered with REES (Respect, Educate, Empower Survivors) and is committed to creating a safe and inclusive community for everyone.

REES provides the option to Create A Record of the incident to report anonymously, or directly to your VC/Accelerator.
Repeat Perpetrator Identification (RPI) enables a user to identify the person that harmed them and can identify an individual that has harmed multiple people.
REES collects data about sexual violence that may otherwise go unreported, in a safe, secure and anonymous manner. Anonymous report data will be gathered to inform and promote change towards addressing and preventing workplace sexual harassment.
Why REES?
REES values relationships and collaboration. We work together with our partners to develop options for survivors that are trauma-informed and survivor-centred.
REES values transparency and accountability. Data only matters if we do something with it. We promote leadership on issues relating to sexual violence, advocate for change and continue to create new pathways for engagement.
REES exists to make social change. We are creating new and innovative spaces for survivors to share their stories.

Medical Care
It is strongly encouraged to seek medical attention following a sexual assault – even if you don’t seem to be physically injured. A medical practitioner can address concerns around:
- Sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
- Pregnancy and emergency contraception
- Other forms of Post-Exposure Prophylaxis
Depending on how many days have passed since the sexual assault, you may be able to get a forensic exam.
Privacy
REES considers privacy in all aspect of software design. All Records are encrypted and we do not require any personal identifying information, store a computer’s IP address, or user cookies to store a Record. REES gives control to survivors over their personal data.
