(more…)OTTERBURNE, MB – There’s no denying that COVID-19 has brought some disappointments for Providence this past year such as layoffs, cutbacks to programs, no Spring graduation ceremony for the Class of 2020 and the cancellation of our summer sports camps. All our classes moved to remote learning and then came the official MCAC announcement to cancel varsity sports.

Sexual violence is prevalent on campuses across Canada. A report by the Canadian Federation of Students-Ontario notes that “one in five women experience sexual assault while attending a post-secondary institution.” (more…)
